Flavian desert fort Ad Maiores at Henchir Besseriani, 130×80 m rectangular camp founded 104–105 CE under Trajan on the Seguia limes. Bastioned walls 2.2 m thick, principia with aedes, bath block and 6th-c. Byzantine chapel with Greek inscription. Anchor of Fossatum segment negraine.
