About Baba Jan
Baba Jan in eastern Lorestan is a Mannean–Median fortified manor complex — Central and East Mounds with pillared halls, painted plaster and Iron II ceramics. Goff's excavations revealed two-phase Median manor with columned hall precursor to later Persian Apadana, courtyard and granary. Associated with Mannaean–Median Zagros polity between Assyria and Elam.
