About Bandurria Norte

Northern mound at Bandurria 4 km south of Huacho on Huaura coastal plain: flat-topped platform 12 m high 90×70 m with sunken circular plaza 15 m diameter on summit, contemporaneous with Caral-Supe. Fung excavations 1960s, Чу Чу re-excavated 2007 revealed plastered temple with offering pits, pre-ceramic cotton textiles and anchovy middens.
