About Buseirah
Buseirah (biblical Bozrah) is the capital of Edom — Isaiah 34 'Bozrah of Edom' — with Iron Age palace-fort, casemate and Edomite pottery (Busayra ware). Bennett & Bienkowski excavations revealed Edomite double-wall, administrative building with ostracon, and temple with bust betyls. Nabataean/Roman copper mining at Feinan/Wadi Faynan fed Bozrah. 8th c. Assyrian tribute, then Babylonian fall.
