Amik north plain tell 1.8 ha, 11 m high, Neolithic–EB (c.6000–2200 BCE) with Amuq A–G sequence, classic Amuq F Gawra ware and EB fort enclosure. Alalakh pre-urban forerunner; Woolley 1930s sounding shows Halaf–Ubaid–Uruk–EB continuity. Important for Amik Neolithisation and 4.2 ka collapse horizon.
