The Grand Mosque of Sabilal Muhtadin (Indonesian: Masjid Raya Sabilal Muhtadin), is the city's principal grand mosque. Construction began in 1964, continued actively from 10 November 1974, and the mosque was inaugurated by President Suharto on 9 February 1981.
