About
About Havana–Bahama Bank Pseudo-Wall – Great Bahamas Bank Wall Claim
Brassell pseudo 1886 Le Plongeon in 'Queen Moo' claimed Bahamas Escarpment is Atlantis 'western wall' 4,000 km long, 4 km high; 1970s Berlitz-Bahamian Atlantis resorts recirc as 'Bimini to Cuba wall'. 1984–2010 Bahamas Drilling Project (ODP Leg 101) and Univ Miami carbonate cliff coring show Bank is steep Upper Jurassic carbonate platform wall: 4.6 km high, 200 m shelf to 4 km abyss built by 100 Myr of algal-reef stacking and salt-driven steepening, not ashlar. No cut stone; sheer face 70° with caves from Pleistocene lowstand, not blocks.
Why it mattersCarbonate platform wall vs fort — how 4-km-high natural carbonate escarpment becomes Atlantis circumscribing wall.
