Horgen (Swiss Standard German pronunciation: [ˈhɔrɡn̩]) is a municipality in the district of Horgen in the canton of Zürich in Switzerland. It is one of the larger towns along the south bank of the Lake of Zurich. On 1 January 2018 the former municipality of Hirzel merged into the municipality of Horgen.
