About Huaca Huallamarca Pyramid — San Isidro

Huaca Huallamarca (originally Pancho Fierro) in San Isidro, Lima: truncated adobe pyramid 85×70 m base, 20 m high, with interior ramps and courts. Excavated by Julio C.Tello (1958) and Clide Valladolid (1960): stratified from Late Formative Pinazo (200 BCE) to Lima (500 CE) and Ychsma-Inca. Museum on site holds Lima mummy bundles (fardos) with stepped textile. Adobe technique contrasts with Pucllana (horizontal vs librero). Urban park, fenced. Demonstrates Lima's extra-Palatial pyramid pair (Pucllana-Hollemarca-Copacabana triad in Lima).

Why it mattersKey Andean (Lima / Pinazo) pyramid with stratified sequence and regional importance.
