Upland Carian city Hyllarima (midway Milas-Muğla 850 m) on Kavaklıdere plateau 37.05,28.35, inland Carian pastoral centre with 2nd-century BCE Zeus Hyllos (epichoric Zeus) prostylos temple on agora, odeion, theatre 2000, and 2 km walls controlling conifer forest and upland cereal plain. Member of Chrysaoric League with Theangela and Amyzon, now within pine forest 20 km east of Stratonikeia. Bean 1970s mapping, Birmingham Anastylosis. Unlike lowland Euromos/Lagina, Hyllarima shows upland Carian agro-pastoral sanctuary economy with transhumance pottery.
