Population estimate 1,200 within K15 immediate, 5,000 across K15 cluster. Heckenberger's 2003 Science report plus 2023 Peripato Amazon earthworks census confirm K15 as verified Xinguano urbanism countering 'pristine Amazon' myth, distinct from Fawcett's Atlantean Z fantasy.
