Systematic excavation and published survey document stratified deposits, architectural phasing and georeferenced plans. Built Natural – mining 1000 BCE (gypsum) and 1809–1812 saltpeter; purpose: Gypsum and mirabilite mining, ceremonial, later saltpeter works. Significance includes multi-phase occupation and landscape setting at 192 m elevation.
