Hilltop great house (−900 CE to 1125 CE) perched on isolated West Mesa promontory controlling Chaco western gap and South/West Road to Chuska. Semi-circular plan with great kiva and McElmo veneer, early great house outlier informing Chaco expansion to Chuska timber source. Its crescent arc references lunar standstill? Hinterland supernova pictograph panel debated nearby. Elevation 150 m above canyon with viewshed to Hosta Butte.
