Sarai Khola Mound — Taxila Valley in Punjab, Taxila Valley, east of Taxila (Sarai Khola, Kot Dijian), Pakistan is a Late Neolithic to Early Harappan (3300–2600 BCE, Kot Dijian in Taxila) pyramid/mound site attributed to Kot Diji culture (Taxila valley Neolithic) culture. The tell/mound rises markedly above the plain, with stratified mudbrick and burnt levels documenting successive rebuilds. Excavations reveal early planning, drainage and cult installations. Comprehensive stratigraphy and published sections allow detailed phasing. Systematic survey, magnetometry and radiocarbon provide chronology.
