Band-e Mizan – upstream regulator weir of Shushtar Hydraulic System (Khuzestan): 390m limestone weir across Karun splitting into Gargar canal (40 mills) vs Shatit, built 260 CE by Roman captives of Valerian under Shapur I. Part of 200m elevation drop cascade with Salasel, Dahaneye Shahr, Band-e Kaisar; UNESCO 2009 engineering serial 1315 sub-component.
