About Tall-e Jari A
Low mound south of Marvdasht on the Kur River north of Persepolis, excavated by Fukui (Tokyo) 1970 and Alizadeh. Mushki aceramic (6800 BCE), Jari geometric painted (6000 BCE) and Bakun black-on-buff show Marvdasht Plain neolithisation independent of Deh Luran.
Why it mattersMarvdasht Neolithic reference: Mushki → Jari → Shamsabad → Bakun sequence is Fars Neolithic yardstick before Malyan.
