Balochistan karez (fog-qanat) field (1,680 m, 30°12′N 67°03′E 30.20,67.05) in Pishin Lora valley between Khwaja Amran and Takht-i-Sulaiman ranges; twin karez Tara (1.8 km) and Burj (2.3 km) with mother wells 22 m and 60+ vertical shafts each, tapping alluvial fan aquifer from Afghan highlands to feed kareze- irrigated vineyards (Hawz reservoir) distinct from Turpan-Xinjiang but shared name. UNESCO Afghan-Pakistan karez cultural landscape 2016 nomination dossier includes Pishin as type field; British Raj gazetteer 1908 logged 80 karezes valley; now 30 flowing after tube-well drawdown 1980-2020 dropping water table 12 m. Baloch earthen distribution channels (sar) similar to Buraimi aflaj.
