About Tatarlı Höyük
Tatarlı Höyük is a EBA–Middle Iron Age tell on the southern Ankara steppe — EBA III walled town (c.2600–2000 BCE) with Troy I–like black burnished, MBA Assyrian Colony ware, Phrygian and Persian levels. Rescue sonde 2010–2014 (Ankara Univ) revealed EB rampart with ditch and Phrygian megaron. 6 m high mound controlling Haymana salt-steppe corridor between Gordion and Hattusa hinterland.
