About Tell el-Ghassil
Low mound inside the AUB University Farm (AREC) 16 km SW of Baalbek, excavated 1956–74 by Baramki and Jidejian. Eleven levels (X–I) from 1800 to 600 BCE show agglutinative village, LBA temple horizon and Iron storage village with crouch skeleton in womb-like cist — classic rural Bekaa stratigraphy.
