Tell Hamoukar — Early Urban Center South Extension in Al-Hasakah Governorate, Syria is a Late Chalcolithic–Uruk (4500–3000 BCE) pre-Uruk urbanism ancient-city attributed to Local North Syrian (Hamoukar culture). Southern extension 15 ha beyond high mound with Uruk eye idols and fortification 4000 BCE destroyed by Uruk expansion war. Reichel Hamoukar LC4 fortification 4000 BCE with slings and 1200 baked clay projectiles, Uruk destruction 3500 BCE battle.
