El Castillo (c.900–1100 CE) – 24m nine-step pyramid with 91 steps per stair plus top platform (365), dedicated to Kukulkan feathered serpent. At equinox, sun and step geometry cast undulating serpent shadow linking to carved heads. Base serpent columns, Jaguar Throne and Chac Mool, and acoustic quetzal echo demonstrate Maya-Toltec calendrical cosmology; UNESCO 1988 and New7Wonders.
