Tepe Djowi (Deh Luran-Susiana) in Khuzestan Province, Susiana, Iran is a Ubaid – Early Uruk (5000–3500 BCE) tell of Ubaid–Susa A Susiana tradition. Susiana Ubaid village bridging Mesopotamian–Iranian Ubaid. 5000 BCE, the site forms a stratified mound/karst mound 170×140 m, 7 m ubaid–susa a, apadāna style. Excavations since the mid-20th c. expose mudbrick with ubaid and susa a painted ware, bitumen vessels architecture with diagnostic ceramics, lithics and administrative finds.

Archaeobotany and radiocarbon anchor the sequence, informing regional Ubaid–Susa A Susiana networks across the Khuzestan Province. Threats include agriculture, erosion; research continues on Ubaid–Susa A Susiana chronology.
