Vădastra Tell (Vădastra Type-Site Terrace) is a multi-period tell/ancient village in Olt County, Vădastra Commune, Danube terrace, Oltenia plain, Romania — Vădastra eponymous type-site — stratified Boian–Vădastra terrace settlement defining Oltenia Neolithic Excavated evidence reveals Boian → Vădastra → Gumelnița cultural horizons with wattle-and-daub architecture. The tell terrace 80×60 m, 4 m high; vădastra pottery horizon 0.5 ha preserves wattle-and-daub, vădastra black-burnished and excised ware, graphite painting technique. Position on Olt County illustrates names vădastra culture — only stratified boian–vădastra–gumelnița danube terrace.
