Eastern Celtic oppidum at Zemplín on a low hill above the Bodrog at the Slovak-Hungarian border, with earth-timber ramparts enclosing 12 ha, excavated by B. Benadik. Rich La Tène D1 finds: imitation Tetradrachmae (Zemplín type), graphite ware and Dacian imports. Shows Celtic–Dacian interface at Upper Tisza.
