About Aflaj al-Ain Nizwa Branch — Daudi Falaj Highland Channel
1207, 5 aflaj: Al-Khatmeen, Al-Malki, Al-Khatwah, Daris, Al-Jeela; Nizwa branch representative). Daudi type: mother well 30 m tapping aquifer, gently sloped tunnel (1:1000) with vertical shafts every 20 m, 8 km to open shari'a channel with sundial-based water-time allotments (athar) managed by falaj wakil (council). Unlike Daudi Al-Khatmeen (Nakhal), Nizwa branch is highland bajada type feeding Nizwa fort palm garden 40 ha. 500 CE) legend but archaeological 800 CE, continuous.
