Chennakesava (1117) – Hoysala Vishnu soapstone flagship commissioned by Vishnuvardhana after Talakad victory. Stellate jagati, 48 lathe pillars (Narasimha pillar rotating, Mohini pillar), madanika bracket shilabalikas (celestial damsels) 42 figures with jewel-detailed undercut, gopura and 650 elephant frieze base. Sacred Ensembles UNESCO 2023.
