About Foggara of Tit — Ouled Sidi Mahdi Foggaric Chain (Tit Oasis Foggaras)
Tit village foggaras (320 m) in Tidikelt–Touat transition: 8 foggaras totaling 11.2 km with 135 shafts (6–12 m) tapping Continental Intercalaire sandstone aquifer at In Salah depression. Foggara Tit-3 (2.8 km) still operational irrigating 42 ha date palm (Deglet Nour). Distribution via kasria (stone flow divider) to majen cisterns. Like Gourara/Touat foggaras already in DB (foggaras-gourara, foggaras-touat, foggara-tidikelt), Tit shows Tidikelt sub-type: shorter shafts, sandstone rather than clay, and kasria with 12-outlet star. French 1906 report shows 22 foggaras reduced to 8. Saoura–Tidikelt foggara World Heritage tentative extension.
