About Grewe Site Casa Grande North Ballcourt
Grewe Site Casa Grande North Ballcourt is the northern ballcourt village of the Grewe Site — the 18-ha Pre-Classic twin settlement north of Casa Grande Great House on the middle Gila north terrace. Craig's CRM before suburbanization exposes a 45-m ballcourt with caliche floor, 150-cremation cemetery with Sacaton red-on-buff urns and a Pre-Classic canal lateral from the Gila — documenting Pioneer-to-Sedentary (500–1100 CE) canal-village development that preceded the Classic Great House aggregation, linking Grewe to Snaketown's Pre-Classic canon.
Why it mattersPre-Classic twin north of Casa Grande — 45-m ballcourt + 150 cremations before Great House (500–1100 CE)
