Moche V (600–750 CE) fortress-pyramid Huaca Fortaleza at Pampa Grande: adobe mass 250×200 m 40 m high truncated with 290 m long ramp west, enclosing plaza 400×250 m, with elite compound atop. Largest Moche pyramid in Lambayeque after Huaca del Sol, with Huaca del Pueblo. Part of Pampa Grande Moche capital (600–750 CE) after Moche south decline, controlling La Leche–Lambayeque. Excavated Shimada 1970s. Associated workshop quarters with metallurgy.
