About Taldy-2 Central Massif Annex Kurgan (Tasmola Taldy-2 Annex Centre)
Central massif annex (820 m) of Tasmola Tald-2 necropolis, Karkaraly district Karaganda, extending Protopopov's Taldy-2 field 6 km north of Taldy village on Taldy River terrace. 8 m high with stone enclosure 12×14 m and ditch 18 m. Excavated 2021 Karaganda Tasmola expedition: Early Saka Tasmola 520 BCE timber chamber with 6 horse sacrifices in ditch and gold deer plaques 48. Central vs Taldy-2 satellite isolates — this is massif centre not annex satellite (Taldy-2 was declared satellite field).
Cultural attribution Tasmola (Tagisken–Tasmola) 8th–6th c BCE with Korgantas later 400 BCE layer above. 8 m high (Tasmola megalith slab variant). Threatened by Karaganda–Karkaraly road 4 km.
