About Taldy-2 Satellite Kurgan (Tasmola South Annex)
Southern satellite 800 m south of Taldy-2 Tasmola royal kurgan (Arystan) on Taldy hill plateau (680 m), Central Kazakhstan steppe, type-site of Tasmola culture. Satellite is 24 m diam, 2.1 m high with stone cist and west ditch, peripheral to 60-m royal. Excavated 2016: undisturbed maiden burial 18–20 yr with gold diadem, bronze mirror, horse kit — interpreted as sacrificial consort to royal. Royal Taldy-2 is 60 m, 6 m high with 15 m log house; satellite proves Taldy complex larger than single royal.
